Trade Me is not the only place where you can get into a bidding frenzy. Yes!Yes! is a silent auction (and exhibition) taking place from Wednesday 1st September, at Manky Chops Gallery on Cuba Street.

From 7pm on Wednesday, you can check out everything on show and make your bids. A silent auction means there’s no way of knowing what anyone else is bidding, you just have to write down the highest amount you’re willing to splash out – and cross your fingers.

All the money raised at Yes!Yes! will be going to good causes in the Wellington region. In fact, you can even let them know of a specific non-for-profit organisation you would like your money to go to. Bidding closes at 9.30pm on Saturday 4th September.

The range of goodies up for grabs is most tempting. Good As Gold has put forth wesc wallets and Cheap Monday jeans, there’s work from artists such as Drypnz and Becca O’Shea, shoes from Whywho? and Tobe, jewellery from Jacob Sheehan and d_luxe, and much more.
